Shoulder Injury

As if scheduling wasn't hectic enough, I now have to work around a shoulder injury. I can only take classes that will be easy on my left shoulder because I am getting surery May 16th. I have always had problems with it, but I recently went to the doctor and finally got it checked out. i found out that I have too muc space in my shoulder capsule, and that my muscles and joints are hyper-extended. So, they are going to tighten my muscles and shave down my clavical bone. Also, I found out that I tore my laibrim, so they are going to have to fix that as well. I will be in a sling for 6 weeks, and will have a few months of recovery. I guess that it is just something that I am going to have to get used to.

I know how you feel in a way. I was a javelin thrower and strained my ulnar collateral ligament in my elbow and was in a huge brace for about a month and still couldn't throw. After that healed my shoulder started hurting throwing javelin so I don't know what's wrong with it. I just gave up throwing the javelin pretty much, having my shoulder feels like it pops out every throw isn't very fun.
